PROJECT MANAGER

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee all phases of commercial real estate and construction projects, from planning and design to execution and close-out.

  • Act as the owner's representative to ensure project goals, schedules, and budgets are met.

  • Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports, ensuring alignment with the client’s objectives.

  • Coordinate and facilitate communication between clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders.

  • Evaluate and negotiate contracts with consultants, vendors, and contractors to achieve cost-effective solutions.

  • Monitor construction progress, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.

  • Conduct risk assessments and proactively mitigate potential project issues to minimize disruptions.

  • Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders, addressing key milestones, challenges, and solutions.

  • Ensure all permits, inspections, and regulatory requirements are obtained and adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Manage project schedules using tools like MS Projec or similar software, ensuring timely delivery of milestones.

  • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.

  • Foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor throughout the project.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

  • Experience: 3+ years of project management experience in commercial real estate, construction, or facilities management, with a focus on owner’s representation.

  • Proven track record of managing large-scale, complex projects from pre-construction through completion.

  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, building codes, and regulations.

  • Experience managing budgets, schedules, and contracts for multi-million-dollar projects.

  • Proficiency in project management software such as MS Project, Procore, AutoDesk or Primavera.

  • Exceptional leadership and decision-making skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.

  • Familiarity with permitting processes, safety standards, and regulatory compliance requirements.

  • Ability to identify risks and develop proactive strategies to mitigate them.

  • Professional certifications such as PMP, CCM, or LEED accreditation (preferred but not required).

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
