SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER

Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee all phases of commercial real estate and construction projects, from planning and design to execution and close-out.
Act as the owner's representative to ensure project goals, schedules, and budgets are met.
Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports, ensuring alignment with the client’s objectives.
Coordinate and facilitate communication between clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Evaluate and negotiate contracts with consultants, vendors, and contractors to achieve cost-effective solutions.
Monitor construction progress, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
Conduct risk assessments and proactively mitigate potential project issues to minimize disruptions.
Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders, addressing key milestones, challenges, and solutions.
Ensure all permits, inspections, and regulatory requirements are obtained and adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.
Manage project schedules using tools like MS Projec or similar software, ensuring timely delivery of milestones.
Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
Foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor throughout the project.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
Experience: 10+ years of project management experience in commercial real estate, construction, or facilities management, with a focus on owner’s representation.
Proven track record of managing large-scale, complex projects from pre-construction through completion.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, building codes, and regulations.
Experience managing budgets, schedules, and contracts for multi-million-dollar projects.
Proficiency in project management software such as MS Project, Procore, AutoDesk or Primavera.
Exceptional leadership and decision-making skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
Familiarity with permitting processes, safety standards, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Ability to identify risks and develop proactive strategies to mitigate them.
Professional certifications such as PMP, CCM, or LEED accreditation (preferred but not required).
Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
